Free Johnny Appleseed (and Apples) Printables & Lapbook

Today I want to share with you some Apple themed printables I've created. Johnny Appleseed's birthday is September 26. Johnny Appleseed is always a favorite guy of ours to study. I teach a little reading class every Thursday. I am gearing up for a Johnny Appleseed study and have been a busy little beaver. This is probably why my laundry has been sadly neglected.

Here are some activities for the preschool people in your life. I would recommend to laminate all of these so you can use them over and over. It doesn't have to be September to enjoy apples or Johnny Appleseed.

The first set is an activity mat. The object is for the kiddos to match the pictures up to the apple labeled with its beginning sound. 

 There are 3 pages of matching shapes and pictures here.

This is a Roll, Add and Color activity. This is for kids who are working on those beginning addition skills. 

Here is a Playdough Math Activity Mat Set. Just open and print. I've included instructions.

 

The next printables I have for you are notebooking pages. There are several to choose from. I am just showing you the color primary lines. Click on the pic and it should take you to a file. 

The last link I have for you are components for a Johnny Appleseed Lapbook. I haven't included any teaching notes. You can use any web information or book you wish. There are so many lovely Johnny Appleseed lapbooks available on the web. I plan to mix and match what I have created with a few other components I have found.
